A big smile. A spontaneous "hello" from students who don't know me. A " cheerful thank you" from a student on a bike when I step off the path to let her by. As a grey-haired Lifelong Learning "student," I find this courteous acceptance of my presence on campus heartwarming. Here's a thanks to all the students who make my short time on campus such a happy one. You guys rock.
