They rocked here once and they will do it again. Once Over returns to rock Sonoma State University with Live 105's award winning band Thriving Ivory.

This month's Pub Rocks! show is going to be like no other; Thriving Ivory beat out over one hundred other bands competing in a Live 105 contest.

Hailing from Southern California, Thriving Ivory has found a large following in the Bay Area, including many of our very own, here at Sonoma State, so come and check them out.

Thriving Ivory isn't like most bands that we are used to; with their smooth melodies and calming piano breaks, it's rather enjoyable.

Scott Jason, the creator and mastermind behind Thriving Ivory is a songwriter, composer and classically trained pianist.

Lead singer Clayton Stroope met Jason while they both attened UC Santa Barbara, they both knew that together they could make great music and were fortunate enough to meet each other and realize their talents.

It didn't take long before they met the other members soon to be in their band, Drew Cribley additional guitarist, Paul Niedermier on drums and Bret Cohune on bass.

Constantly working on new music, Thriving Ivory is probably one of the hardest working bands in the industry. Always pushing themselves harder, they don't forget who they are, where they come from, and how to put on an amazing show.

Once Over are returning guests to Sonoma State University and are back by popular demand. Not only are they from Napa, but lead singer Cole Bushman is a Sonoma State University alum.

Once Over will be playing songs from their yet-to-be released album, so be sure to stop by and hear for yourself just how amazing they are.

Together these two bands are sure to rock the Pub on Feb. 16.

The show starts at 7:30 p.m. so be sure to be there!
