My goal to make Sonoma State a better place for all students and my passion for politics is the reason why I am running for re-election of the Undeclared Senator position. While representing the Undeclared students this year I learned a valuable number of things which will help me become a better senator for this next upcoming year. I now know more effective ways to get in touch with the undeclared students. I've also gained a better knowledge of how to pass resolutions supporting and benefiting students.

This year, during my current stint as Undeclared Senator I fought hard against the Rohnert Park Party ordinance by speaking in front of Rohnert Park city council and explaining to them that by imposing this Party ordinance they were destroying the relationship between the students of Sonoma State and Rohnert Park. I'm also proud to say that I passed a resolution asking for the current course repeat policy to be change, making it so that a student retaking a class does not need to average their retake grade with their first grade to form their GPA. My next years goals are to work with my fellow colleagues on developing a green music center, solve the problem of the future lack of on campus housing because of the freshman over enrollment, and work to create a University Center that is fun and beneficial for all students. I also hope to get a Tipsy Taxi program kicked into effect, this will ensure all students safe rides home.

I am in full support of the Contract with SSU and will dedicate myself to furthering the implementation of each and every one of its points Steven Campbell is a very dedicated individual who has served the student body honorably over the current year and I fully look forward to uniting with him in his pursuit to pass the list of actions proposed in his Contract with SSU If elected, I hereby pledge my name to this contract. Associated Students serves as a great medium to connect us all. If elected Senator of Undeclared Students I will take it upon myself to create, to the best of my abilities, a smooth running and less stressful student lifestyle. Accommodating your needs is my goal.

Are you aware that SSU is in the preliminary stages of possibly creating a new University Center? It will be built across from the Rec Center and create a common grounds for students to meet and interact. We can make it possible!

SSU Contract: New University Center.

Are you aware of the potential housing crisis here at SSU? Implications of years 2006/07 include 50% of Sauvignon village consisting of freshmen if expected enrollment growth continues. According to a SSU Campus Housing Worksheet from Campus Reengineering Committee in 2007 all first year residents will not be able to return for a second year to live on campus. In 2008 freshmen will overflow into Beaujolais and in 2010 freshmen will exceed current campus housing capacity. Have you had trouble trying to live on campus next year?
