Stevie Starr is the Regurgitator. Yes, you read it correctly, the Regurgitator. Associated Students Productions hosts his nauseating show in the SSU Commons on Friday, Oct. 20, at 8 p.m.

Starr is known round the world for his ability to swallow just about anything and produce each object back up in the order swallowed. The 34 year old has appeared on "The Late Show with David Letterman" and "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno" as well as other television shows in Japan, Switzerland, and Australia.

Starr swallows and expels objects such as whole light bulbs, live goldfish, and bumble bees. In the middle of his act he swallows a bowl full of sugar with a glass of water and brings the sugar back up completely dry. If he hasn't wooed you yet, how about swallowing an unsolved Rubic's cube and producing it back up, solved. Starr can also swallow numbered coins and return any number the audience requests, an ability he discovered at an early age.

The Scotland native spent the first 18 years of his life in a children's home in Glasgow. He began honing his skills at the age of 4, when he started swallowing his pocket change. He then attempted other items like bumble bees. Starr went out into the garden, swallowed a bee, and brought it back up to fly away--a stunt he has repeated on several television appearances.

The Regurgitator in the Commons is free, but be warned, it's not for weak stomachs.
