The last two opponents for the SSU women have found scoring a difficult task, thanks in large part to the Seawolves' suffocating defense.

The thirty-three points Cal Poly Pomona recorded on Saturday night, Feb. 3, in their 49-33 loss at Seawolf Gym was the lowest SSU has allowed, since a 90-16 laugher against Pacific Union on Nov. 30, 2001.

Last Thursday, Feb. 1, the Seawolves downed Cal State San Bernardino 49-40, making it a remarkable seventy-three points the SSU women have allowed in their last two games.

Their win Saturday night was their third straight, upping their overall record to 9-9, 8-6 in CCAA play.

They will go for four in a row this Friday, Feb. 9, in La Jolla against UC San Diego.
