Compliments and questions for the SSU community
Issue date: 3/11/08 Section: Letters to the Editor
Dear Editor,
As a grey-haired student in the LLI program, I just want to say how welcome most of the regular young students on campus have made me feel with their cheerful "hellos" to a total stranger.
Also, one day I wandered into a noon computer class in room 101 of Ives (I was waiting for a LLI program that began at 1:00) and found the class and the instructor absolutely riveting. I felt privileged to spend some time in the classroom and felt the instructor deserved applause when the class was over since he presented the material so well.
I began to wonder if people like me would be allowed to audit such classes. Does anyone know the answer to this?
