"I am loud and like to talk a lot. I have a reputation for being able to hear me a mile a way," said junior Michael Eynon. Once an introverted high school student, Eynon feels as though he has found his place here at Sonoma State.

With a vested interest in psychology as well as theatre, Eynon has decided to double major while focusing his studies on becoming a drama therapist.

"I was greedy and didn't want to give up either passion and drama therapy existed," said Eynon. "I didn't have to create a job; it was already there."

With a compassionate heart, Eynon truly wants to help people and is very thankful to the people that have helped him along the way.

"The professors I have had here are nothing short of amazing," said Eynon.

On top of taking 14 units, Eynon is president of the The Comedy Improv Club on campus. Not only does the club bring constant hilarity and new inside jokes, it is a comfortable environment for those involved.

Eynon lives with two members of the Comedy Improve Club and is close friends with other members as well.

He was introduced to acting by two high school friends and has enjoyed being involved with all aspects of acting ever since. Eynon has been involved with various theatrical performances and has found each one of them beneficial in their own way. Eynon played Andrew the waiter in Peter Warden's senior project production of "Beyond Therapy" and the crowd loved him.

"The crowd just roared when I came out to mop the stage, it made me feel like I have a strong connection here at Sonoma State," said Eynon.

Eynon has also been involved in the production of Julius Caesar through a friend's theatre company.

"I do shows for the high that you get before, during, and after, and to do it with people you love is just…so good," he said.

Eynon's favorite play is "Noise Is Off."

"I have never laughed that hard in my life, well, except for at improv," said Eynon.
