In their mini-tournament on Saturday in Chico the Seawolves softball team came away with a split 1-1 record. Game one was highlighted by Brittany Williams who drove in both runs in their 2-1 victory against Chico State while holding the Wildcats to only one run on three hits. SSU moves their record to 9-14 overall.

The ninth ranked Men's lacrosse team traveled to San Diego over the weekend and defeated number two Colorado State in a close 9-8 game before dismantling the Tritons of UCSD 12-3. Look for the team to continue rising through the rankings.

The water polo team fell at home to the Santa Clara Broncos 9-4 last Friday. Laurel Stricklin led the Seawolves with two goals.

Softball defeated Chico State 2-1 in their early Saturday game. Brittany Williams went 2-4 at the plate, driving in both Seawolf runs, while pitching seven innings and giving up only one run.

Their second game of the day saw the softball team go down 8-0 against Cal State Monterey Bay.

Men's tennis remained perfect against Division II opponents when they topped Cal Poly Pomona 6-3 on the road.

Number one Andy Muesse led the way for the Seawolves with 6-1, 6-1 singles victory and an 8-3 doubles victory alongside freshman Brett McNulty.

Women's basketball's post-season run ended after losing 70-53 to the University of Alaska-Anchorage.

The 21-1 baseball team had the weekend off and will try to better their 15 game winning streak on Thurs. March 21 when they take on San Francisco State at home.
