With a successful regular season resting in their back pockets, the SSU Men's Lacrosse team is hoping to further their success during yet another playoff season run.

After regular season wins and losses totaled, the team stands at number eight in the MCLA (Men's Collegiate Lacrosse Association), is placed third in the WCLL (Western Collegiate Lacrosse League), and for LAX Power, they are ranked number eight as well.

In their final game of the season, the Men's Lacrosse team defeated the Golden Bears of Berkeley by a score of 9-3. SSU's Clatin Kuhns, Casey Wood, Max Larkin, Cito Williams, and Jordan Ambler brought in the goals for the Seawolves while SSU goalie Warren Pringle put nine saves up on the board.

On April 13, SSU pulled in another win against University of Oregon with a final score of 17-5. More than eight total players tallied goals for the Seawolves in their match against the Ducks.

Both Phil Keebler and Cito Williams assisted with two of the goals.

The Seawolves were able to bring home the WCLL North Title with their win against UC Davis on April 10. With a final score of 13-8 against the Aggies, the Seawolves helped themselves to a title and a win. Cito Williams had five goals and Marcus Sylva pulled in three goals with three assists. Five other players each had one goal to compliment the win over the Aggies.

The most recent loss for the Seawolves came against UCSB on April 5. Although the final score was a tremendous fault for SSU, losing 12-5, they have brought their successes back with proof from their wins and their current rankings.

With their success this season, the men's lacrosse team has brought themselves to the Quarter-Final Playoffs, with the opportunity to compete in the WCLL Final Four Tournament.

The Men's Lacrosse team will be holding a "Fun" Raiser Pasta Dinner in order to earn money to support the team. Events will include a pasta dinner, silent auction, live auction, LAX films, and the opportunity to meet coaches and alumni. The event will take place on Friday, May 2 in Encinitas, CA.

After defeating Santa Clara University 15-6, the Seawolves will be taking part in the WCLL Final Four in San Diego on May 3.
