 Breast cancer awareness night

On February 6, 2012

On Saturday, Feb. 11, Sonoma State University will host its inaugural "Pink Zone" game when the Seawolves take on the Cal State Dominguez Hills Toros at The Wolves' Den.

Pink Zone is a nationwide women's basketball initiative to raise breast cancer awareness on campus and in the community.

The first 100 fans to arrive at the game will receive a free t-shirt and a halftime ceremony will be held to honor breast cancer survivors.

In addition, the women's basketball team is requesting that all fans wear pink to the game, which is set for a 5:30 p.m. tip off.

Joining Sonoma State University in sponsoring this special event are the Alpha Xi Delta Sorority and the Petaluma Health Center.
